What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is akin to a treasure hunt using GPS technology or smartphone apps. Participants search for hidden containers, called "geocaches," placed at varied locations across the globe. Each cache usually contains a logbook for adventurers to sign and may include small tradeable items, such as toys or trinkets. With roughly 3 million geocaches scattered worldwide, each hunt brings a sense of excitement and adventure that resonates well with young adventurers.

Are you connected to a youth mental health and health leader in the community?

We know a digital world is making a dent in the mental health and wellness of our youth and community. Many clinicians regularly recommend physical activity, social engagement, and confidence-building activities to support healthy child development – but they may not know how to connect families to a solution, like getting involved in Scouting.

Kids thrive with Scouting.
